DESCRIPTION: A delicate and intricate quilt consisting of 597 1" printed fabric triangles. There is a wide selection of fabric characteristic of this time period. Seven of these pieces show signs of fabric wear. The quilt is all hand pieced. The binding is also hand done and the quilt is tied with pink yarn. .
CONDITION: This quilt has 7 triangles, out of 597, which show signs of wear. All the other fabric is sturdy and the colors are vibrant. There is slight age staining and the quilt appears to be in unwashed condition. There is one larger stain which is shown in the photos.

DESCRIPTION: This is an unusual pattern called Broken Sugar Bowl. It is a charming small size vintage crib quilt perfect for displaying on the wall, putting over a table, or adding to your quilt collection. The fabrics are characteristic of the region with a cohesive color theme of double pinks, small black polka dots, and a chocolate brown print. This antique quilt is made up of 10” squares separated with sashing and a border. The quilt is all hand pieced with a hand sewn binding and outline quilting 8-9 STI. In the sash and border the quilting consists of parallel lines 1” apart. This quilt does not have any batting, making it very light and soft and easy for hanging.
CONDITION: All the fabric is colorful and clean with intact fabric and seams. There are a few very small holes however not noticeable. (See Photos)

DESCRIPTION: This is an authentic miniature antique doll quilt in a four patch design separated by sashing. It would display beautifully on a vintage doll bed or on a county table top. The squares are 1” in size and it is all hand pieced. The fabrics are lovely browns, pinks and tans with a muslin back. It is hand quilted in an overall diamond grid pattern at 6-7 STI. The binding is hand done in a fabric of the same vintage.
CONDITION: This miniature quilt fabric is sturdy without tears or holes. It has a nice overall patina however is soiled on the front. The back is quite stained. (see photos). This quilt has not been soaked and it is possible some of the soil would lift.

DESCRIPTION: This is an authentic antique doll quilt in beautiful fabrics characteristic of this time period. The front fabrics are madder browns and the back is a wool challis. The squares are 1 ½” in size and it is all hand pieced. It has a 1 ½” border and hand stitched binding with some of the same fabric found in the doll quilt. This lovely piece of folk art is finely hand quilted in teeny even 10 STI an overall diamond grid pattern.
CONDITION: This miniature quilt front fabric is vibrant and colorful without tears or holes. There are 2 spots where the fabric is slightly faded however does not detract from the overall beauty and charm of the doll quilt. The back has seen considerable wear. (See photos)

DESCRIPTION: This is an authentic antique doll quilt in a Single Irish Chain design with a lovely saw-tooth border. The squares are 1” in size and it is all hand pieced. The binding is machine stitched and well as the quilting. The quilting is done in an overall grid pattern.
CONDITION: This miniature quilt fabric is intact, without holes or tears. It appears to be in washed condition as there is an overall softness to the colors. There is one seam that has come apart however is easily repairable. The binding is slightly worn. This piece has an overall beautiful display quality and would look adorable on a doll bed or on a country table. (See photos)

DESCRIPTION: This simple one patch quilt design is accentuated with a saw tooth border. The squares are 2” in size and are is all hand pieced. The doll quilt is tied rather than quilted.
CONDITION: This miniature quilt has vibrant colors which are typical 1920s fabrics. The fabric is sturdy without tears or holes except for 2 pieces on the border which are blue silk. (See Photos)

DESCRIPTION: This is an authentic miniature antique doll quilt in a simple alternating block pattern. Its colors are a soft red and off white which have a consistent slightly faded hue. It would display beautifully on a vintage doll bed or on a county table top. The squares are 1” in size and are all hand pieced. There is no batting or quilting. The binding is hand done in a fabric of the same vintage.
CONDITION: This miniature quilt fabric is soft and has a wonderful overall patina. There a couple small tears on the front and back. (See photos).

DESCRIPTION: This is a darling doll quilt consisting of a nice array of vintage fabrics including shirtings, blue and brown weaves, and indigo prints. The 3 1/2" squares are bordered by 1" triangles, which is small in scale and often seen with miniature quilts. It is hand pieced, perhaps by a child, since it lacks precision. It is tied using red yarn. The quilt is thick as if made as a doll bed mattress. The back fabric is brought around to the front to finish the edges.
CONDITION: This quilt has some fabric wear, significant fading, and some faint water stains however a nice early piece. It would make a nice display for an antique doll bed.

AGE: c. 1880-1890'sSIZE: 16” x 14” LOCATION FOUND:Upstate NY DESCRIPTION: This is an adorable doll quilt entirely done by hand. The fabric is wool challis and cotton prints. It displays a wonderful example of early fabrics. The quilt back is the same wool challis. It has even yellowing from age that gives it a wonderful patina. It has a thin cotton batting and is tied with light blue which adds a nice accent of color. CONDITION: All the fabric is intact and sturdy. This miniature quilt would be darling displayed on a vintage doll bed or framed.
